ew HATE cetaphil. It makes my skin so greasy. One time I used it before my makeup and I had to apply more and more translucent powder because even though I waited like 10 minutes for the moisturizer to soak in it just would not! And so my foundation was sooooo oily it would NOT stay put.

because of you i decided to buy the Queen Helene face mask.. its been mentioned in another video or two of your’s. i tried it for the first time last week and i LOVED the results!! i have extremely oily skin and it dried my face out and cleared my pores of all my black heads. highly recommended (although it’ll be VERY VERY drying for those who don’t have oily skin). left me feeling fresh and clean.

what happened to the merlot grape seed moisturizer? I just happened to watch your “Updated Skin Care Routine v.3″ and I was a bit convinced so I was about to go run to a local walgreens to buy it! I think I have the same skin type. So tell me about what happened to that moisturizer! Is it not a fave anymore?

one example is the popular brand: st ives! stop using their scrubs! although it is tempting cuz they are priced cheaper than other artifical scrubs you should think of it in the long run!

I bought pure tea tree oil and mix one drop into my facial moisturizer before I apply it and it has worked really well. I have been doing it about a month and have not had any major breakouts. Adding tea tree oil to you moisterizer would be a cheaper alternative to the body shop line.

Don’t use facial scrubs with natural scrubbers!! (like apriocot, peach scrubbers, etc.). My derm tells me that since they’re natural, they’re jagged and can scratch the surface of your skin. She recommends using artificial exfoliators like those tiny beads. They’ll leave your skin nice n’ smooth!

Oil in your face doesn’t produce moisture. Oil in your face is what contributes to acne. Washing it with cleanser can remove some of the oil, and since cleanser has the tendency to dry out the skin, moisturizer is a must.
