I like the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, you can find it in the baking aisle of your grocery store.

I have really acne prone skin and I use a thick concealed on my face by clinique, do you think it’ll come off thoroughly with olive oil? Thank you for this awesome tutorial =D I’ve been wondering how well olive oil works to remove make up.

@glintzy okay thank u so much
, will buy one tomorrow…
Comment by thacarters — May 3, 2010 @ 2:18 am
@thacarters The brand doesn’t really matter, I buy the store brand because it’s cheaper. I do like the extra virigin better than the regular though, it’s just more pure.

i really need to know asap, cause i dont get to go out that much, what brand of extra virgin olive oil should i get? is bertolli good? does it have to be organic? thanks!

i use the method alot and it really works for me and doesnt irritate, for oily skin i find that useing some lemon juice and vinagar with the olive oil really acts as an acid to help acne, the smell isn’t that great but it keeps the skin in good condition
, good video!

@pandalover7X I realized after I posted it that I might not have said that right lol, by fresh I just mean clean. I throw all of my tiny towel pieces in the washer when I’m running low.
Comment by glintzy — May 3, 2010 @ 6:20 am
@pandalover7X I like to use a fresh one each time. When I first starting using this method I didn’t have very many wash cloths so I just cut up an older towel into wash cloth sized pieces until I could get some more lol.
Comment by glintzy — May 3, 2010 @ 6:38 am
ok! thanks
how often do u wash the towel?
Comment by pandalover7X — May 3, 2010 @ 6:53 am
@pandalover7X I have better luck with the towel. The oil tends to repel the water, so just splashing water on your face afterward doesn’t seem to take it off.
Comment by glintzy — May 3, 2010 @ 7:53 am
is it ok if I just wash it off without using a face towel? can I just wash it off with warm water right out of the sink? no face towel involved.

I’ve been using a cleansing oil from DHC.
My face breakouts sometimes too. I’ll try the olive oil, much cheaper- thanks for the tip!
grapeseed oil is great for removing eye makeup, doesn’t irritate and conditons lashes

I tried this method last night..
I massaged the oil into my face, then washed it off with my mild skin lightening soap…
It worked really nice.
Thank you (^_^)

I do that all the time…works amazing!!
But i use it also onn my eyes & lashes.
If you use waterproof mascara,it works great!!
After the cleaning with olive oil,i wash my face with a mild soap bar.
After all these steps you’re face is very clean & soft. (5*****)
