I had to remove some very extreme makeup last night. Black gel liner used as a base, foundation four shades darker than my skin tone, concealed eyebrows and tons of glitter. Pretty much the worse makeup to remove easily…
Whilst washing it all off I made the mistake of washing it off too quickly and a little…rough. I scrubbed, pulled, washed, cleansed, tugged and scraped at my face and unfortunately today my skin grew irritated, blotchy, sensitive, red and a little discolored.
So I was wondering if the discoloration, blotchy-ness etc will go away naturally or did I ruin my face forever? Is there any product and or home remedies I can use?
I’m a bit of a hypochondriac to please if anyone has had this happen to them let me know your story/ how to help my cause.
thank you SO much.
I used to wear heavy makeup too, but Never use a heavy hand when removing any makeup! The skin is easily damaged. Now that it is done try using a very gentle cleanser (no soap – ever) and wash every day and night. Pat dry – do not wipe. use only Witch Hazel for a natural toner and then apply some Vitamin E cream or oil for a few days. The blotches should go away. Vitamin E is a healer. You can also try a cream with Aloe it is also a great healer.

Best thing to use is……baby oil on cotton or cloth…..it cleans it off very good, then wash your face with soap.
