actually red compliments green. Purple and green just look stupid. Try a red tinted eye shadow and turn it into a smokey eye look. Trust me girls, you’ll love it.

I have bluegreen eyes, and loreal color appeal eyeshadow in 153 metal plum really brings out the color of my eyes and looks natural enough to wear on a daily basis.

I also have green eyes, and when i use pink or purple eyeshadow i also use a black kajal pencil or a black eyeliner.
Try it yourself and tell me if it works out…

i have green eyes and the only time purple doesn’t look freaky on my is if i mix it with other colors and that barely works, but as far as someone with close to green eyes doing makeup i would recomend xsparkage

I have green eyes, but purple eyeshadow looks REALLY dumb on me. :/

purple does go with green eyes. i have green eyes and i use purple eyeshadow, liner and mascara. none of them that hideous gaudy color, tho. a darker purple

i have green eyes with a layer brown around the black. if i use too much black or grey it makes them look muddy so i like really light violet pinks, dark plum purples and gray eyeliner

Not true. Purples make green eyes pop, especially a dark eggplant purple. I have green eyes and I love to wear purple shadow and eyeliner. But you have to remember there are exceptions to every rule.

Purple also looks hideous matched with green. Get a piece of purple paper and a piece of green paper and put them together. Good for football colours, but not much else!
Besides the woman in the video has brown eyes and purple looks really good on brown eyes.

That’s not true. As red is opposite to green on the colour wheel, red will bring out the green in a persons eyes. I’ve worn red eyeshadows, and my eyes are green and it makes them look like the colour of the grass. Also, gold works well but unfortunately doesn’t match my skin as I’m a cool complexion.

Hard to believe but gold and browns makes the green in eyes stand out!!

I have Green eyes mixed with a little bit of blue and brown (weird crazy mix I know x_X) and for me to bring out the green a red eye shadow works well.

It also depends on your complexion or skin tone. I am of a darker skin tone and smokey grey makes my eyes pop, almost glow- seriously, it looks good!!!
