@Shawnta715 so i tried it today and it wasnt that bad at all. i used oil to remove all of my make up, wiped with a moist wash cloth then started the OCM. it was my 1st OCM (watched your other video for how to) and after i was done i went over my face with a cotton round and toner. i was surprised at how little came off on the cotton. better than some cleansers i’ve used. i’ll give it a week and see what i notice. thanks for the videos and for responding

@neekie5235 That would work…..99.9% of the time I do not wear foundation so that’s why I didn’t do my whole face, but if I was proceeding with doing the OCM for the evening then that is how I would do it..

how come you dont use the evoo to remove the make up from your whole face? like i know you do OCM but like have you ever tried using evoo to remove the eye make up and then the rest of your make up, wipe with a ringed out wash cloth, then add more oil for the OCM and then proceed as usual? would that even work? lol sorry if this is silly

Have you ever used blue mascara? I have a cobalt blue from NYC that is very pretty but I usually only wear it with natural/neutral colors so that it sneaks up on people. But I would love to find a way to wear it in another subtle but not so subtle way like using blue eyeliner…I’m not sure what to do. Do you have any ideas or do you like to use colored mascaras? Thanks for all the other videos. They’ve helped me a lot. Also have you used Valana Minerals makeup?

oh i have another question… those EM wet wipes, how good are they at removing their foundation? are they abbrasive, and if so, do they feel soft or rough?
Comment by deathray8 — July 12, 2010 @ 6:19 am
oh i see.
you have absolutely lovely skin, it’s so glowy! that’s why i want to try this! you’re so beautiful!

I usually remove the eye stuff first then do the OCM to remove everything else.
Comment by Shawnta715 — July 12, 2010 @ 7:46 am
so, do you remove you makeup with the olive oil and then follow up with the OCM?

Great! I’m going to try the olive oil tonight! Have a good evening! Reese

Hey if its working do it! I wasn’t going to pay $13 dollars for a bottle of clinques take off the day makeup remover especially since this works just as well.

Hi Shawnta. This for the info on olive oil…I use it for cooking all the time, never thought to use it for make-up removal. I’m currently using unscented Baby wipes with Ponds cold cream to remove make-up is that okay? Thanks for your videos..They are awesome!

I think it would work just as good. I think olive oil would be cheaper in the long run for just makeup removal, but I have hard some people enjoy jojoba oil as their primary oil for the OCM so you could do it all in one shot. I am experimenting with different oils myself to see if I see a difference.

Disregard my comment below…i just thought about what i asked. I really ment to ask about Jojoba oil, not “regular” olive oil. I feel ditsy
Comment by browneskinlady — July 12, 2010 @ 11:32 am
Would you think regular olive oil would work? as opposed to EVOO. Nice video because i’ve been contemplating makeup removal techniques.
